Apple iMac Specifications
Apple has refreshed its entire line of Macs – the iMac Pro, iMacs, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. With upgrades in all significant areas, Mac fans can rejoice. Starting with the displays, there are two sizes – 21.5 inch and 27 inch. These new iMac displays are 43% brighter compared to the preview generation, offering you up to 500 nits of brightness.
Powered by the seventh generation Kaby Lake processors from Intel, the new iMacs get a specs boost in the GPU as well. The entry level fullHD 21.5 inch model comes with a Intel Iris Plus 640 GPU. The 4K version will come with Radeon Pro 555 and 560 cards. The 27 inch 5K model will come with a choice of Radeon Pro 570, 575 and 580 cards. Coming to the memory and storage, the new iMacs now come with double the amount of memory compared to the previous generation. The 21.5 inch model offers up to 32GB RAM while the 27 inch model goes up to 64GB. In terms of storage, the 21.5 inch model offers up to 1TB of Fusion Drive while it goes up to 2TB for the 27 inch model.

Apple has also included two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports. Overall, the new iMac refresh is quite good, especially since Apple has updated the lineup after nearly 2 years. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the new iMac supports VR as well, hinting that Apple could launch a VR accessory as soon as next year. Apple MacBook Specifications
Coming to the MacBooks, Apple has updated the MacBook Pro and Air with Kaby Lake processors and faster SSDs. Apart from that, there is a 13 inch model of the MacBook Pro without a TouchBar. The regular 12 inch MacBook gets faster SSDs, while the 15 inch MacBook Pro now comes with a discrete graphics card as a standard. The MacBook Air is getting a lone specs upgrade, but it is an important one. Apple has revealed that the Air will come with a faster 1.8 GHz processor, but that’s all we know so far about it. The MacBooks start at $1299 and go up to $2399.
