It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and features an HD display with IPS technology for wide viewing angles. It has 1GB of RAM, and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU chip. It has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera. It weighs 340 grams and is 10.4mm thick approx, it looks very much similar to Asus Nexus 7 previously launched in india. The screen resolution is 1280×800 with 10 point multi touch support. It can also be used for voice calls using the built-in noise-cancelling digital microphone or with a Bluetooth headset. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB, with a microSD card. Fonepad users will also get 5GB of free lifetime ASUS WebStorage for syncing photos, videos and sharing data with other devices. It has a 4270mAH battery which as per Asus once charged it will give around nine hours of running time. The approx price of this tablet should be around 10-12k indian rupees.
