HMD has confirmed that it will launch the Nokia X7 in China on October 16 and just like previous X series models, the Nokia X7 will launch in global markets as Nokia 7.1 Plus. The GeekBench listing of the Nokia X7 which was first spotted by Dutch site Telefoon Abonnement shows single-core score 1,827 and multi-core score of 5,937.
Nokia 7.1 Plus expected specifications
As per the listing, the Nokia X7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM. There could be a 4GB RAM variant as well. The Nokia X7 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It will pack 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.
Previously, some rumors have also revealed some details about the display, camera, and battery of the Nokia 7.1 Plus aka Nokia X7. It is expected to sport a 6.18-inch full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) TFT display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to sport a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP+12MP combination. The handset may sport a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The device will pack by a 3,400mAh battery. The Nokia 7.1 Plus was expected to launch on October 4 event in Europe, however, the company announced the Nokia 7.1 instead. While the Chinese variant is scheduled for launch on October 16, the Nokia 7.1 Plus as a global variant is also expected soon.
