IT Home has leaked that the upcoming smartphone will be sporting an 18:9 aspect ratio display, which could be the first from Nokia. The device was spotted last year with the Nokia camera app unpacked and showcasing the name of the phone.
Nokia 7 Plus rumoured Specifications
Nokia fans who were earlier slightly disappointed with the company not moving to more modern features like the 18:9 aspect ratio, they might be in for a treat with this device. The Nokia 7 Plus is rumoured to be the first Nokia smartphone to feature an 18:9 display. The device is expected to come with a 6 inch display with minimal bezels. In terms of optics, we may see the flagship Carl Zeiss lenses in the device. The rear camera is leaked to be a dual camera setup with 12MP + 13MP sensor. On the front, the phone is expected to feature a 16MP sensor, also with Carl Zeiss optics. In terms of performance, the GeekBench listings has revealed a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.8GHz. We expect this to be the Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM. Nokia 7 Plus is also shown running Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is also expected to come with Nokia Ozo audio. All that said, the Nokia 7 plus can be expected to go live at the MWC 2018. Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global already tweeted about the company’s enthusiasm about the Mobile World Congress, hence indicating at major product launches. If the Nokia 7 Plus goes live at the MWC this year, it will be the first Nokia device to come with an 18:9 aspect ratio display.
