Well, Oppo has unleashed Oppo Joy, a mid-range smartphone for the Indonesian market priced at Rp 1,699,000 (approx. Rs 8,900). The handset is expected to go on sale soon with no word regarding a global launch. Talking about its specifications, Oppo has given the handset a 4 inch WVGA capacitive touch screen display boasting a resolution of 480×800 pixels and a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. For memory requirements, there is 4 GB of native storage space that can be expanded externally up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS topped with Color OS UI, the Oppo Joy features a 3 MP primary camera at its back with LED flash and a VGA front-facing snapper at the front. Other goodies onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM support and a 1,700 mAh battery. Besides these features, the Oppo Joy has a Quick Reach mode in the Color OS that allows users to draw a pattern on the screen and double tap on the display to launch the applications easily. Also, with the gesture panel users can customize the patterns.
