The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are expected to be the next mid-range offerings from Samsung under the Galaxy A series. The phones have surfaced on the Samsung website in an online user manual. The manual reveals the full design and buttons layout of the devices.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) Specifications
While the user manual was still available at the time of writing this story, we cannot say if Samsung will scrap it from the website or not. The leaked design in the manual shows the phones bearing an 18:9 aspect ratio. While nothing is mentioned about the display size, the physical layout is completely revealed. There are no capacitive buttons on the phone. The manual confirms the presence of Always-On display on both the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018). There is also a pressure sensitive home button just like the one on the Galaxy S8.
Coming to the back of the devices, you will see a single camera setup. A fingerprint sensor is given below the camera module. This is illustrated just the way it was leaked by a Weibo user for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9. This fingerprint sensor placement will be easier to reach and avoid smudging your camera module. According to the diagrams, you will get Dual SIM slot where you can use either two SIM cards or one SIM and one microSD card. The volume rockers rest on the left side of the device while the power button sits on the right. The interesting thing to note here is the dual front cameras.
