Apart from the two displays, the Vivo NEX Dual Screen comes with several similar specs to the first-gen NEX. However, there are a lot of other improvements too. It gets Snapdragon 845 but has 10GB of RAM and it runs Android 9.0 Pie. There is a triple rear camera set up and Vivo used a 2MP secondary night vision camera as well as a TOF 3D camera along with the main sensor. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo NEX Dual Screen sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED primary display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. There is a 5.49-inch FHD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display at the back. There is a ring around the camera module that has 16 RGB lights that can be used as a notification LED.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 845 mobile platform with 10GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor which is said to be 17% better compared to the predecessor and can unlock the phone in just 0.29 seconds.
In terms of camera, there is a 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with 4-axis OIS, f/1.79 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a 2MP secondary night vision camera with f/1.8 aperture, 2.9μm pixel size. The third camera is a 3D TOF camera with a f/1.3 aperture for high-precision 3D depth sensing using 300,000 infrared points. It can also be used for face unlock. In terms of connectivity, it supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C. It packs a 3500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. It also has support for AK-4377A amplifier and deep space sound.

The Vivo NEX Dual Screen is priced at 4998 yuan (Rs. 52,000 roughly). It comes in Ice Blue and Star Purple colors with gradient finish and will be available for purchase in China from December 29.
